Overview

This is an external research unit associated with the Coimbra site of Instituto de Telecomunicações. It is hosted by the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Beira
Interior. It incudes 17 faculty members and 20 researchers working on five major topics:

- Networks and multimedia;
- Mobile technologies and telecommunications;
- Computer graphics and multimedia;
- Soft computing and pattern recognition;
- Applied mathematics.
