Their activities encompass cutting-edge areas such as 6G networks, multimedia communications, the Internet of Things, gaming, distributed systems and IoMT solutions, developing solutions for global challenges.
The laboratories are equipped with high-performance computing capcbilities, connection to FCT cloud and grid infrastructures, advanced electronic circuit production, radio communication systems, and energy harvesting, promoting experimentation, innovation, and collaboration with international partners, industry, and companies.
