- Development and production of a set of novel low cost components for optical systems (lasers, filters, BGW, optical cavities for clock
- Development of innovative concepts and architectures for optimized optical systems, such has energy scavenging, polarization
dependant architectures, integrated functions through advanced devices in fiber or integrated optics, such as tuneable header
recognition and processing for all-optical routers.
- Develop new concepts, ideas, strategies and architectures for the transmission above 100Gbit/s and beyond 8Tbit/s;
- Test the new components and architectures in “real world” applications.
