Abstract
Mixed-domain instruments are becoming extremely important in nowadays software defined radios industry. As well, the correct characterization of nonlinear components is driving a huge quantity of research work, mostly associated to the design of fully calibrated and phase referenced instruments.
In this paper will be designed a low-cost Comb Generator, based on digital logic gates. Its performance is then validated through a consistent number of measurements. The comb generator will be further characterized using a Real-time Oscilloscope and its stability will also be analyzed over time and input power.
