Measurement of Low Level DC Magnetic Fields Using a Synchronous Demodulation Technique

A simple, yet accurate, method for the measurement of low-level DC magnetic fields is proposed. Since a synchronous demodulation technique is used, only incremental field values are directly measured. Absolute values require knowledge of a reference value for the field. An implementation of the method for measuring the magnetic field in soft magnetic materials is also presented
