New Expressions for the Autocorrelation Function of BOC GNSS Signals

In this paper we develop exact expressions for the autocorrelation
function of a class of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) signals
based on Binary Offset Carrier (BOC) modulations. The results are derived
using a common methodology and will be useful for simulation purposes and
receiver design and evaluation. The expressions concern modulations
sinBOC(pn; n), cosBOC(pn; n), MBOC(6; 1; 1/11) data and pilot signals, and
AltBOC(15; 10) with constant and non-constant envelope.These modulations
will be used in Galileo and modernized GPS.
