Abstract
The understanding of dynamic and complex systems requires a multi-directional approach toward the whole system. In the case of sports, the analysis of the teammates’ interactions during collective organization is one of the main tasks that will improve the quality of research and also the possibilities for team sports optimization. This can be made by examining the team members as individuals and also as cohesive groups. Defining the teammates’ interactions as a network can carry out such holistic analysis. The aim of this article is to suggest a set of methodological considerations to optimize the match analysis based on network.
