Abstract
Here, we present an approach to achieve large topological invariants that does not rely on exploiting crystal symmetries of structured media and instead depends on the nonlocal electromagnetic interactions between different carrier species. It is shown that it is possible to obtain large gap Chern numbers and large Weyl points charges within materials that lack intrinsic periodicity, such as a magnetized plasma. We demonstrate the bulk-edge correspondence is respected by denoting the number of emerging edge states agrees with the gap Chern numbers.
