Abstract
This paper presents a NATO 5G Testbed designed for military communication needs, focusing on Integrated Access and Backhaul (IAB), Sidelink, and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS). Its modular architecture uses open-source frameworks like OpenAirInterface for flexible, portable deployments. The Testbed enables testing in relevant scenarios, addressing spectrum scarcity, mobility, and security. Preliminary results show promise for enhancing tactical communications and operational efficiency.
