The use of millimeter-waves is believed to be one of the most effective methods to achieve wider bandwidth in the modern communication systems. With this, several problems arise, especially the progressive smaller size of radiating structures and their feeding networks. In real systems, the connection between these smaller antennas and the RF frontends can be done through a via-hole. This paper proposes a wideband stripline-to-stripline transition using vias, which cancels any undesired behavior of such structures in high frequencies, achieving a perfect impedance matching throughout a wide frequency range.
