Abstract
This article presents the design procedure simulated
results of the integration of a monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) Power Amplifier (PA) with a tunable antenna in 0:25um Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) technology. The three-stage millimeter wave (MMW) PA design is focused on low-loss wideband networks design. An average output power of 25 dBm, average gain of 16 dB and a mean PAE of 25%, was achieved.
Moreover, the antenna design was based on a unable patch antenna with a maximum gain of almost 2 dBi and an efficiency of 45 % at 26.5 GHz.
