Abstract
This article includes a qualitative nature research, which aims to analyze how the exhibition Explorística – Aventuras na Estatística influenced the understanding of statistical concepts in a 3rd grade class. The research took place in a higher education institution and was developed by a group of bachelor's students in basic education, according to the guidance of the teacher of Didactic of Mathematics and led to the conclusion that there is evidence that the exhibition influenced the consolidation of some of the difficulties of student learning detected initially, considering how the non-formal context influenced the understanding of statistical concepts.
