The paper proposes a method to estimate simultaneously
a bird’s flight and wingtip dynamics based solely on the
processing of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) signals
like GPS. In order to estimate the wingtip velocities relative to
a coordinate frame moving with the bird, we use a bank of two
independent extended Kalman filters with different dynamics parameters
driven by the same sequence of pseudoranges generated
by a bank of Hatch filters.
