ehicular communications are in great development to deliver a set of innovative features to drivers. Electronic collection for car parks, tolls, gas stations, are some of the areas in great expansion, given the convenience and comfort that offers to the drivers. A new approach for positioning of tolling gates in highways is evidenced in this paper, using an antenna that uniformly covers the highway access lane, allowing to make a simpler system and reducing costs. In addition, the antenna is compatible with the rules that manage vehicular communications in Europe.
