Although millimetre wave (mm-Wave) com- munications are expected to be a key part of 5G, these frequencies present considerable challenges due to high propagation free-space path losses and implementation difficulties. For this reason, it is desirable to have broad- band mm-Wave communications with good power and spectral efficiencies that are compatible with high efficiency amplification.
In this paper we propose a massive multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO) architecture for broadband mm- Wave communications that can employ highly-efficient, low-cost saturated amplifiers with any constellation, even large quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM) constellations or other dense constellations with high spectral efficiency.
