Abstract
This paper presents the followed strategy in the planning, integration and optimization of a group of Home Node Bs (HNBs) in an office environment. Firstly, a brief description of the HNB technology is set, being displayed the necessary characteristics for the operation of a cluster of femto-cells. Network planning is done through the use of the tool TEMS Transmitter, used in the field to determine the number of needed HNBs, as well as their location within the building. Finally, a configuration test is presented, focusing on the main parameters that enable installed HNBs to achieve the desired coverage area (higher than 95%).
