Abstract
The Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and its two branches (sympathetic and vagal systems), in physiological conditions work together to maintain body homeostasis.
Accessing to inner regulation by indirect measures uses mainly heart rate variability (HRV) and the output of time or spectral analysis. In this work we present a device to obtain long records of autonomic data accessed by ECG, joint with a 3 axis accelerometer records. Integration of this information allows association of body postures changes during the day with fluctuations in heart dynamics, and by this way a more robust interpretation of changes in HRV.
