Abstract
Diamond is an electric insulator with a thermal conductivity 5 times higher than copper –
meaning it is the best heat conductor known to man. This makes diamond an ultimate
candidate for high power and high temperature electronic applications. While natural
diamond stones are too small to be used by the electronics industry, diamond can also be
artificially synthesized under certain temperature-pressure conditions.
