Abstract
The evolution of knowledge and information has changed the practices of health services over the years. The use of Information systems (IS), with the underlying Information Technology (IT), plays a vital role in managing medical information and associated resources, always to provide a better quality of health care. IS/IT is increasingly developing globally, with new features and tasks greatly expanded, leaving paper records and voluminous files behind. The ubiquitous information and computing resources increasingly allow the sharing of all types of data between various entities. New IS/IT will have to be thought to correspond to the new types of monitoring and analysis of biomedical data. This work intends to explore the IS/IT in health and its evolution over the last few years.
