This paper presents a bridgeless single-stage, single phase circuit topology consisting in the association of a fullbridge isolated DC-DC converter with only one input inductor connected to the grid and two rectifier diodes, to provide sinusoidal input current wave shaping. Due to the bridgeless input circuit, the converter allows to obtain a high efficiency, 91.7%. To avoid primary transformer saturation, due to the asymmetrical current distribution, the circuit uses One Cycle Control, OCC, modulator in the output voltage controller. Another particularity of this topology, not achieved in similar topologies, is the reduced zero input current cross distortion. The paper comprises the converter theoretical analysis, design
criteria and experimental results of the input current and the output voltage. The paper also includes the dynamic response of the input current and output voltage controllers.
