Abstract
Lamb wave testing is a non-destructive testing (NDT) technique that uses guided ultrasonic waves to evaluate the structural health of a material without causing any damage or altering its properties. The propagation of Lamb waves in a plate is affected by the presence of discontinuities such as cracks. In this study, the interaction of Lamb waves with cracks with different depths is analyzed through reflection, transmission and mode conversion.
