Abstract
In this paper, we present an all-digital implementation of a multi-technology, multi-band remote unit based on RFSoC. The design supports up to 3 independent carriers with frequencies from 0.01 up to 3.05 GHz. Two proofs of concept are presented, one for LTE or 5G signals with 20 MHz bandwidth and another for 460 MHz bandwidth. The worst case scenario for three adjacent signals presents an EVM of 0.9 % for the 20 MHz signals case, and below 8 % or the 460 MHz signals, when a power amplifier is added these numbers come down to around 0.5 % and 6 % respectively.
