Abstract
This work provides a detailed study for HeNB deployments by considering the average Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise-Ratio (SINR) and simulations for a building with a geometry of 5x5 apartments. Different apartment sides and transmitter powers for the HeNBs are compared in the simulations. Also the impact of considering Proportional Fair (PF), Frame Level Scheduler (FLS) or Exponential Rule (EXPRule) schedulers was taken in account. Results for the average SINR and simulations shows that is more advantageous to considered smaller areas to deploy HeNBs. It is possible to extract from the results that for the video application and a packet loss ratio threshold of 2%, the average goodput from the FLS scheduler is higher than the ones for the PF or the EXPRule schedulers.
