| Main Objective: The project objective is to devlop a congestion control method alternative to that of TCP, fully interoperable with the I-PEP specification and specifically aimed at optimizing web browsing performance in the I-PEP environment, while maintaining goofd performanc for other TCP traffic such as large files transfers. Phase 1 produced a specification and preliminary validation via simulation. The objective of Phase 2 is the development of a prototype and evaluation of its performance in a real or emulated network environment. |
