| MAIN OBJECTIVE: | This project studies circuit- and burst-switched optical networks. The influence of the physical level on the routing and wavelength assignment, and the development of models for optical packect switching will be investigated in the project. The main goal of the project is to promote the working together of portuguese and brazilian researchers in the field of optical communications. | |||||
