PROJECT / Conjugated polymers and copolymers

PROJECT: End-capped conjugated polymers and copolymers for device applications
ACRONYM: Conjugated polymers and copolymers
MAIN OBJECTIVE: The objectives are to synthesise and fully characterise in terms of photophysical properties and chemical stability a series of polyfluorenes, poly(p-phenylene vinylenes) and related copolymers with hole trapping or blocking, electron trapping and luminescent end-groups for potential applications in LEDs. The best candidates will be used for device fabrication and the current-voltage and luminance-voltage characteristics studied.
