Project: Fed4FIRE+: Aveiro Tech City Living Lab

Acronym: Fed4FIRE+
Main Objective:
Fed4FIRE+ is a project under the European Union’s Programme Horizon 2020. Based on the legacy of the Fed4FIRE top Internet and Network-related experimentation federation, Fed4FIRE+ has enhanced the largest federation worldwide of Next Generation Internet (NGI) testbeds, providing open, accessible and reliable facilities to a wide variety of different research and innovation communities and initiatives in Europe, including the 5G PPP projects and initiatives.
During this project, Aveiro Tech City Living Lab (ATCLL) is being federated under the Fed4FIRE+ project, with the main objectives: to promote and expose ATCLL, publicizing its research work and diversified technologies; to elevate the infrastructure to a professional level of accessibility and security standards, as well as interoperability with other platforms; to attract new national and international institutes and companies; and to bring new functionality and new hardware to the already existing Fed4FIRE+’s federated testbeds.
