Project: MIT-PT SNOB-5G: Scalable Network Backhauling for 5G

Acronym: SNOB-5G
File: 045929-Ficha.pdf
Main Objective:
Reinforce research, technological development and innovation

Synthesis: Build a high-bandwidth wireless backhaul between 5G radio units. Design a truly highly resilient and fault-tolerant network, with no single point of failure. The backhaul network shall become autonomous, self-organized and resilient enough to support critical features of 5G, such as edge-based and Software-Defined-Networks (SDN) with excellent levels of security and privacy.
In the end, the proposed solution will be validated in two municipalities, under distinct city-wide use cases with specific and challenging requirements.
