Project: Quality of Service and Multi-Channel Utilization on TCP/IP Communications over HF Military Systems

Acronym: RADNAV V
Main Objective:
This project is a follow up of RADNAV III and RADNAV IV. It aims to develop a TCP/IP service platform to run over HF transmission systems with the following enhancements: (i) experimental validation with military staff of the best queueing disciplines and parameters to achieve an optimal HF channel utilization between the different TCP/IP services, (ii) enhancement of the system to be able to use simultaneously multiple HF channels, (iii) development of a tool for remote set-up of HF modems, (iv) implementation of the system on the Portuguese Navy premises.
