PROJECT: Development of a TCP/IP Service Platform to Run over HF Transmission Systems
ACRONYM: RADNAV IV
MAIN OBJECTIVE: This project is a follow up of RADNAV III and has the following objectives: (i) implementation of the previously developed system (based on a single server and a single client connected by an HF transmission channel) on Portuguese Navy premises and validation of simulation results previously done, (ii) development of open source based routers to interconnect LANs (with attached servers and clients) through the HF channel and (iii) explore different queueing disciplines on the routers to achieve better utilization of the HF channel low bandwidth between the different TCP/IP services.
