PROJECT / MICROCELLS

PROJECT: Wideband mobile communications in microcells:propagation models and antenna design
ACRONYM: MICROCELLS
MAIN OBJECTIVE: Development of a theoretical model for cellular coverage, typically for indoor environments, for wideband communications at 60 GHz and validation by undertaking field strength measurements in typical cells.Theoretical study of printed and nonprinted antenna configurations for the coverage of these cells, construction of antenna prototypes and assembling of a millimeter wave measurement system using a flexible configuration also adequate for propagation measurements and installation inside an existing anechoic chamber.
