About the position

The position is associated with the impact of technology in the society. The position holds several different components across different projects and is directly tied up to the responsibilities taken by IT as leading Networld Europe. As such the position will make sure that IT is properly recognized inside Networld Europe, and that the work performed inside IT is properly relevant for those activities. The position will be financially supported by different projects, according to the relevance of the activities of that project at that moment for the outcomes of Networld Europe.

Your required profile

Any national, foreign and stateless candidate(s) holding a doctorate degree in informatics or telecommunications or other related scientific area and a suitable scientific and professional curriculum may submit an application. In case the degree has been awarded by a foreign higher education institution, the degree must comply with the provisions of Decree-Law no. 341/2007 of 12th of October, and all formalities established therein must be fulfilled, by the selected candidate, until the date of signature of the contract.

The candidates must have Experience with international standardization organizations, and with event organization.

Your current track record of scientific publications, and or project involvement, and student supervision complies with the Productivity Criteria in force at Instituto de Telecomunicações, verifiable from your provided CV.
