About the position

A research position for one Research Grant (“Bolsa de Investigação Pós-doutoral“) is open at Instituto de Telecomunicações, in the scope of the Project CELL-LESS6G – Distributed Access Design for Cell-less Smart 6G Networks. This project is funded by FCT/MCTES through national funds and when applicable co-funded EU funds under the 2022.08786.PTDC project reference.

The position is focused on developing different aspects of the AI-native Air Interface, particularly those involving cross-layer PHY/MAC operation in real-time.

Your required profile

- The PhD must have been obtained in the last 3 years and the research work shouldn't have been developed at IT, along with the other conditions set by the Fellowship Regulation of Fundação para Ciência e Tecnologia;

- The candidate should own a strong background in Wireless Communications and Networks.

Your current track record of scientific publications, and or project involvement, and student supervision complies with the Productivity Criteria in force at Instituto de Telecomunicações, verifiable from your provided CV.
