Prof. Joaquim Júdice was awarded the 2012 EUROPT Fellowship in recognition of his efforts and contributions in the field of continuous optimization.

EUROPT is a working group of the EURO - Association of European Operational Research Societies'' within IFORS, the ''International Federation of Operational Research Societies''. It is a ''non profit'' association with headquaters in Switzerland.
