The paper entitled “Low-cost Transmit-array (TA) Antenna Prototype at Ka-band Combining Low Profile and Mechanical Wide-Angle Beam Scanning” won the Best Conference Paper at the 2023 IEEE International Workshop on Antenna Technology (iWAT), held on 15-17 May 2023, in Aalborg, Denmark.

The authors Sérgio Matos, Álvaro F. Vaquero, Manuel Arrebola, Jorge R. Costa, João M. Felicio, Carlos A. Fernandes, and Nelson Fonseca, belong to the Antennas and Propagation group of IT Lisbon.

iWAT is a series of annual international antenna workshops, which focus on small antennas and related technology. This year's edition was co-sponsored by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (IEEE AP-S) and the European Association on Antennas and Propagation (EurAAP).
