Pedro Escaleira was the winner in the area of Telecommunications of the 3rd edition of the APDC Best Thesis Award, with the dissertation entitled: "Securing Real World 5G MEC Deployments”, developed in the scope of NetEdge project and under the guidance of Diogo Pereira Gomes and João Silva Barraca, both from Instituto de Telecomunicações and University of Aveiro.

The award ceremony will take place on the 10th of May at 2.30 pm in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Lisbon, where will take place the 32º Congress of APDC.
