IT at ICT 2015

ICT, the biggest European event in Information and Communications Technology, was held in Lisbon from 20 to 22 October.
With around 7000 participants, an area of exhibition near 5000 sq. meters and 130 speakers, the event was the initiative of the European Commission, this year promoted jointly with Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT).
Carlos Salema – the President of Instituto de Telecomunicações – was invited by FCT to coordinate the stand where 15 Portuguese research institutions were represented. In his interview for RTP2 he showcased some of the prototypes developed in IT, one of them in display at ICT exhibition - "The Internet of Moving Things" - which led already to a start-up.
