The final of the 3rd edition of the 3 Minutes of Thesis (3MT) competition, organized by the University of Lisbon (ULisboa), will feature 12 finalists who will try to reach a place on the podium. Two of them are from Instituto de Telecomunicações. 

All participants will receive diplomas of recognition of merit, with cash prizes of 1000 euros, 2000 euros, and 5000 euros reserved for the first three places. 

The candidates, PhD students at the University of Lisbon, will pitch their research, its importance, and its impact in three minutes using a single device.

Let’s support them on May 22, 2025, at Pavilhão de Portugal.

The two PhD students from IT who are qualified for the final are both from Biomedical Engineering, namely:

Ana Carmo – PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at IT.

Vicente Garção – PhD student in Biomedical Engineering at IT.
