In our newsletter, issue 113, we are very excited to showcase ISTSat-1 project, by interviewing the project's team leaders. ISTSat-1 is expected to fly this next month on Ariane 6. To our best knowledge, it will be the first CubeSat entirely developed in Portugal in an academic context.

Our researchers continue to deliver their mark in research, science, and industry. We highlight just that. LAMPSY and Sympathia Technologies PhD projects are finalists of Lab2Market @Técnico, "Eye in the Sky" project was highlighted as forestry innovation in Portugal, and ALERT-PFAS, a project that aims to mitigate environmental and human health risks from PFAS contamination.

In particular, we present a snapshot of the project MIFUTURE, coordinated by Rui Dinis, funded by HORIZON.1.2 - Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Only this project expects to receive more than 15 PhD candidates for a high-level personalised multidisciplinary program.
