Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT) and the University of Beira Interior (UBI) signed a cooperation protocol last Tuesday for forthcoming IC&DT synergies.
This protocol stands as a shared vision and mutual interests between IT and UBI. It outlines the provision of human resources from UBI to IT, along with the allocation of spaces conducive to fostering our collective endeavors.
Under this agreement, UBI pledges its commitment to facilitate the integration of researchers and collaborators into IT's research and development activities, subject to the availability of its human, physical, and financial resources.
In attendance were Sílvia Socorro - Vice Dean of UBI, Pedro Inácio - Pro Dean of UBI, Professor and IT researcher, Hugo Proença - IT branch coordinator, UBI Professor and IT researcher, Carlos Salema - IT Board, Mário Raposo - Dean of UBI, José Carlos Pedro - IT President, Fernando Velez - UBI Professor and IT researcher, Rui Paulo - IT Staff, Marcelino Pousa - IT Executive Director, and Mário Freire - President of the Faculty of Engineering at UBI.
