Fernando Sousa received his B.Sc. in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL) and his E.E., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, Portugal. He is currently a coordinator professor at the Electronics, Telecommunications and Computer Engineering Department, ISEL, and researcher with the Communication Theory Group at the Instituto de Telecomunicações in Lisbon.
