Bio

Henrique Oliveira holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Lisbon, Portugal. He joined the Multimedia Signal Processing Group of Lisbon’s lab of Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), since September 2006. He lectures in Escola Superior de Tecnologia e Gestão – Instituto Politécnico de Beja, Portugal, since October 1995, where he is an Associate Professor in the Engineering Department. His research interests include image processing, pattern recognition, geographic information systems, remote sensing and multivariate data analysis.
