This edition highlights the successful deployment of ISTSat-1. On July 9, 2024, the Ariane 6 rocket launched from French Guiana, carrying the Portuguese nanosatellite to the International Space Station. The launch was broadcast live at TagusPark Oeiras, marking a significant milestone in Europe’s journey to regain autonomous access to space.

On June 29th, the Técnico Innovation Center hosted DEEC’s ELECTRODAY, an event dedicated to showcasing the cutting-edge work of final-year students from the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. The event highlighted projects spanning various fields, including energy, software, technology, and engineering.
