Alireza Sepas-Moghaddam received the B.Sc degree and the M.Sc. degree with first class honors in computer engineering in 2007 and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2015, he was with the Shamsipour Technical University, Tehran, Iran, as a lecturer. In 2015, he came to the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa (UL), Lisboa, Portugal, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering and is a member of the Multimedia Signal Processing group, Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT). His main research interests are in the area of biometrics, forensics, and image coding and description. His current research has focused on exploring the advances in light field imaging technology and apply them to develop evolved biometric recognition and presentation attack detection systems with enhanced performance. He has contributed more than 25 conferences and journal papers.
