Fardin Derogarian Miyandoab received B.S. in communication engineering from Tabriz University in 1997 and M.S. in electronic engineering from Urmia University in 2003 and PhD in telecommunication from Porto University in 2015. His thesis focused on wearable systems and body area networks. He was lecturer at Telecommunication Company of West Azerbaijan from 2003 to 2009 and at Urmia Azad University from 2007 to 2009. Recently, he has joined to Radio Systems group in Instituto de Telecomunicações as a postdoctoral fellow under supervision by Prof. Fernando J. Velez. His current research interests include telecommunication, integrated circuits, wireless sensor networks, body area network, wearable health systems, cognitive radios, energy harvesting, and mobile networks.
