Overview

Measurement capabilities of the IM Group include, but are not restricted to the following domains:

- Measurement of electrical quantities in specific conditions, namely in low and medium frequency;

- Characterization of passive and active electric and electronic components, namely analogue-to digital converters and data acquisition systems;

- Measurement of non-electric quantities such as temperature, pH, turbidity, gases and heavy metals concentration.

The Group has the required hardware and software to perform both manual and automated measurements and also to process and remotely transmit the resulting data.

The main IM Lab is locatd at the 11th floor of Torre Norte, IST-Lisbon, and it is shared with other groups from IT-Lisbon. IM Group team members have also access to IM laboratories from the Department of Electical and Computer Engineering from IST.
