Scope of activities

Activities comprise all TRL levels, from fundamental to applied research, including technology transfer and pre-commercial development (TRL7). The focus is on 2 linked areas: antenna design and development, and wave propagation modelling. Overall, the research pursues new challenges on the Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and Beyond, Space Technology, Autonomous Mobile Systems and Low Energy Systems. The fundamental research component, mainly on metamaterials, is geared towards mid- to long-term paradigm shifts in the physical layer, but also bridging to applications.
