The Wireless Circuits and Systems Group is devoted to analyse and design all types of electronic wireless devices from the individual component to the complete RF sub-system, giving a particular attention to nonlinear blocks. These include, but are not limited to, active device modelling, power amplifiers, RF switches, mixers, oscillators, synthesizers, modulators and novel wireless transceiver architectures. Beyond that, it also conducts research on behavioural modelling of high-speed digital I/O buffers, signal processing techniques for nonlinear equalization and algorithm development for the computer-aided design of RF/microwave circuits.
The group is composed by 5 PhDs, among which 2 are senior researchers, and it hosts several PhD and MSc students.
