The Integrated Circuits Group activity encompasses all aspects of Electronic Design Automation (EDA)and Analog and Mixed Signal (AMS) IC design including, but not limited to, automatic system and circuit-level synthesis, modelling and simulation, automatic IC layout generation, layout-aware sizing and optimization, IC retargeting and technology migration, computational intelligence techniques, multi-objective multi-constraint methods, A/D and D/A conversion, logarithmic AD conversion, RF front-end blocks, high-performance amplifiers and LC-VCOs. The Group aims at developing analog and mixed-signal ICs EDA solutions with a broad range of applications, among others, aerospace, biomedicine and consumer electronics.
