Organic Electronics - Lx is devoted to the creation of knowledge at world level in topics related to the use of organic semiconductors in electronics. Research is focused on the design and synthesis of semiconducting polymers and molecular conductors and on the manufacture and characterization of low-cost, lightweight and flexible electronic components for displays, solar cells, sensors and circuits, that can be printed on anything and placed anywhere. Organic Electronics - Lx is also involved in the emerging Organic Bioelectronics technologies, such as applications in nanomedicine and implantable devices.
